  Just walked out of the Little Chef . Four members of staff all talking, no one bothered to acknowledge us, serve us and were just defensively rude when we left - the member of the waiting staff was ‘on her break’ apparently!!!! Pfft. They should be sent to The Diner on the A1 north of Newark to learn how to keep customers.

  passing through to east coast. first time we stopped here. Pleasantly surprised. Much better than most Little Chefs which seem to be faded and tired. This was the opposite. Staff very pleasant cheerful helpful. Place itself was spotless, and the staff were still cleaning it yet again whilst were there. service rapid.Food/drink simple and good. Overall, as good as it gets. well done to the staff
